Policies - Spring Break FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS  Q. Where do we check in and check out? A. For your convenience, you will go directly to your reserved unit at check-in. Someone will be meeting you in at your reserved beach house unit for check in to give you the door codes. Instructions to coordinate are sent once final payment is made. Q. What time is check-in and check-out? A. Check-in time is any time after 4:00 PM on your day of arrival and check-out time is any time before 11:00 AM on the day of departure. A late fee may be applied for check outs after 11:00 AM. Q. Do you require a security deposit? A. Yes. For Spring Break, we require $300 (minimum) security deposit plus a cleaning fee ($45-65 this amount varies based on square footage of the rental). The deposit is returned to the credit card that final payment was made from, after the unit has been checked for damages and the yard inspected for cleanliness. Q. What form of payment is required for deposits? A. We accept cash, MASTER CARD, VISA, personal checks, traveler's checks and money orders. Personal checks need to be received by us 3 weeks prior to your arrival date. Q. If I cancel do I get a refund? A. Cancellations will be accepted up to 61 days before your stay. If you cancel your reservation, your deposit will be returned to you, less an office charge of 10% of the total rental amount. Cancellations will not be accepted within 60 days of your reserved dates. Final payment is due and payable. This includes, but is not limited to hurricane evacuation. No refunds will be made for early departures. We highly recommend getting TRAVEL Insurance for your trip. It is up to the tenant or guest to purchase this coverage. Coverage is available for health and weather related problems. There will be an opportunity to purchase insurance in the check-out process.  You may also choose your own provider to insure your rental stay.  This will be your sole remedy in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Q. Can anyone rent a beach house from you? A. Yes, with minimum age of 18. The Jupiter St. location does not allow Spring Break stays. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Q. How many people can stay in a unit? A. Individual listings state the recommended occupancy. Our one bedroom will accommodate up to 6 people. The two bedroom units on Corral and Capricorn will sleep up to 8 people. Units can be rented together when available to accommodate larger groups. Q. Can I reserve a particular beach house unit? A. We will do everything possible to see that your request is granted; if, however, that rental should become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to relocate your reservation to a comparable accommodation. We will, of course, make every effort to notify you of the change in advance. Q. How are the houses equipped - what should I bring? A. Our rentals have fully furnished kitchens, full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cooking utensils, pots & pans. Bath towels and linens are also provided. You should bring beach towels, sun tan lotion, groceries, toiletries, dish & laundry soap, and GARBAGE BAGS. You'll need them for the beer bottles and cans :) Q. What do I do if there are problems with my rental property? A. In the unlikely event that an appliance fails, it will be repaired as quickly as possible. Please report any problems at once so that they may be corrected. Q. Is there free parking? A. All of the properties that we represent provide adequate off-road free parking for two vehicles for each unit. Please review Terms and Conditions for each property upon booking. Q. Can I bring my well mannered, friendly pet? A. Yes, we believe well mannered and cared for, friendly pets need vacations too! All of our rentals are pet- friendly. You must pick up after your pets which is required and enforced by city code enforcement and is subject to a fine. Renter will pay for any damages to the beach house or missing items, which are a result of their actions or the actions of one of their guests. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injury of guests or for the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. Beach House Vacation Rentals, SPI, Inc., management and employees are not responsible for damage to guests, valuables or automobiles. Illegal substances and firearms are not allowed on the property.
